Acute onset hypesthetic-ataxic-hemiparesis is described in two hypertensive
patients. Computed tomography (CT) showed an area of increased attenuation
consistent with blood in contralateral thalamus. The pathophysiologic
implications of the cerebellar and pyramidal system in thalamic hemorrhage
is discussed.
