Response:
I thank Dr Sacchetti and her colleagues for sharing their experience from Rome. Their findings demonstrate the use of a concerted educational program in increasing the number of patients with acute ischemic stroke who can be treated with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator and other acute interventions. I congratulate them on their efforts. I hope that other groups can replicate this positive result.
