In the August 1999 article by Ishikawa et al, "Effects of Moderate Hypothermia on Leukocyte-Endothelium Interaction in the Rat Pial Microvasculature After Transient Middle Cerebral Artery Occlusion," the following items appear incorrectly. In the byline, the name of the second author should appear as Eiichi Sekizuka. In Dr Ishikawa's address for correspondence, the city should be Marburg, Germany. Finally, in the second paragraph of "Materials and Methods" (page 1680), the parenthetical mention of Figure 1 should be deleted, so that the sentence reads: "After removal of the microvascular clip, the guide sheath was advanced 2 to 3 mm from the pterygopalatine bifurcation."

The publisher regrets the oversight.
