Correction

In the article entitled "Therapeutic Strategies After Examination by Transesophageal Echocardiography in 503 Patients With Ischemic Stroke" by Harloff et al,¹ the authors wish to correct an erroneous data transfer to their Table 2 regarding the prevalence of atrial septal abnormalities. In Group 1, the number of patients in the category PFO was erroneously presented because patients with PFO + ASA were not subtracted. The same applies for the category ASA. In Group 2, a minor deviation was additionally corrected. The revised Table 2 with corrected values shown in bold can be viewed below. The message of the article and the conclusion concerning the therapeutic impact of TEE on secondary prevention in acute stroke patients are fortunately not affected by this error. The authors regret this error.
