In the October issue of Stroke, the article entitled, “Apolipoprotein B/Apolipoprotein A-I in Relation to the Metabolic Syndrome and Change in Carotid Artery Intima-Media Thickness During Three Years in Middle-Aged Men” by Wallenfeldt et al1 there was an error concerning data in the Results section. The following sentence and the figure replace the last sentence in the first column on page 2250 (paragraph title ApoB/ApoA-I Ratio and MetS):
As shown in the Figure, two thirds of the patients with MetS had high apoB/apoA-I ratios (>0.90) compared to one third of those without the syndrome.
