This year, we are delighted to provide the readership of Stroke Advances from 8 of our sections by 1 or both Section Editors. These overviews of important recent developments in the areas of genetics, emerging therapies, prevention and health services, health policy, interventional radiology, recovery and rehabilitation, vascular cognitive impairment, and population studies should be useful to those readers who are looking for a concise and informative review of important new information in these areas.
The yearly updates, provided by the Advances, is a well-received feature of Stroke that will remain an innovative feature of the journal. I thank the authors for their timely and informative contributions. Any suggestions from the readership concerning additional areas in the cerebrovascular field not covered by the current sections are welcome.
