We read with great interest the article by Ifergane et al1 dealing with the relationship between obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and biomarkers of inflammation and coagulability. The results of their study demonstrated that subjects with the greater apnea hypopnea index had higher prevalence of recurrent stroke and atrial fibrillation in patients with OSA.
