With great interest, we have read the recent article by Li et al1 entitled “Island Sign: An Imaging Predictor for Early Hematoma Expansion and Poor Outcome in Patients With Intracerebral Hemorrhage.” Considering the high incidence of hematoma expansion and its significant association with poor outcome in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage, it is important to identify a reliable predictor for hematoma expansion.2
