Stroke — Author Mentoring Programme (AMP)
The Journal STROKE is pleased to offer an Author Mentoring Programme (AMP) to authors from developing countries.*
STROKE currently accepts only 22% of all manuscripts received. It is important that each paper be written concisely, eliminate redundancy, emphasize the central message, and provide only the data necessary to convey that message.
The purpose of the Author Mentoring Programme (AMP) is to give authors access to members of the STROKE Editorial Board who volunteer their time and expertise to assist authors with advice on preparing competitive papers for submission to a peer-reviewed journal.
AMP is a free service to authors, with one condition that if a mentor deems the manuscript suitable for possible publication, that the enhanced manuscript be sent to STROKE for first consideration. AMP manuscripts will be subjected to the same standards as all papers sent to STROKE.
